Care Ministry

We all need encouragement, prayer and a little help from time to time…at Pointe North Community Church our Pastoral Care Ministry offers:
  • Prayer
  • Biblical Counseling
  • Hospital Visitation
  • Benevolence
  • Funerals
  • Weddings

Prayer
PNCC is committed to praying for the needs and concerns of our church family and community. A team of volunteers and staff serves in this vital ministry throughout the week. Prayer requests can be submitted by filling out a prayer request card and placing it in the offering container or turning it in at Starting Point. Or you can simply fill out your request here online.

Biblical Counseling
Biblical based counseling is available to PNCC attendees and those in our community at no charge. Biblical counseling provides an approach to problem solving and relationship resolution with the goal that individuals, couples and families grow in their relationship with Jesus and learn to apply Biblical principles in their everyday lives. Appointments can be made by calling the church office Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Hospital Visitation
Our Hospital Visitation Team is here to extend the love and compassion of Christ through ministry and prayer to those in the hospital. Visitations may be requested by calling the church office.

Benevolence
Extraordinary circumstances occasionally create special needs. Our Benevolence Ministry seeks to provide assistance and biblical-based guidance to those in such need. Temporary financial assistance is provided to our regular attendees for food, medication, and basic necessities and also to our community through partnership with Trident United Way.

Funerals
If you have experienced the loss of a loved one and would like to discuss a funeral or memorial service, please contact the church office.

Weddings
We are excited for the opportunity to help you prepare for your upcoming marriage. Our pre-marital counseling program is designed to give you and your future spouse an understanding of God’s design for marriage and a realistic picture of what marriage is like. If you desire a Pointe North pastor to officiate your ceremony, completion of our pre-marital counseling program is required. For more information about our wedding policies or to schedule pre-marital counseling, please call the church office.

There’s the comfort of knowing that you’re surrounded by people who love and care about you…that’s what the Pastoral Care Ministry is all about; caring and ministering to your needs at every stage of life.
